This creation was made for the theatrical play “Nansen Passport”, of the theatre group “East of Nestos”. A play based on true stories of people. When I finished reading these stories I wanted to scream… And I did it…
This shadow sculpture is based on the famous painting of Edvard Munch, “The Scream”. I think that the central figure imprints the fear that the refuges are feeling.
On the background, the two people are walkers. The bars of the bridge shows us the streets and the bridges, and the rest are elements of the painting of Munch like the lake and the colors of the horizon.
