Xanthi’s Niki

The sculpture was made in 2015 on the outer wall of Mavromichali Street 1, in the old town of Xanthi where the first House of Shadow operated. The flowerpot is painted. From April to the end of August, for five minutes every morning in the sunlight, the Victory of Xanthi comes out and waters the flowers. The perfect shadow takes place at 10:23 a.m. on July 19 every year.
Nikos Galis
This sculpture was created in 2015 for ARIS BC in honor of the top Greek basketball player Nikos Galis and is exhibited at the Aris Basketball Museum in Thessaloniki.
TV100
This sculpture was made in 2016 for the TV100 Channel entirely from their old television equipment.
“Rosa of Smyrna” film
The sculpture “Bell Tower” was created in 2016 for the film “Roza of Smyrna” (directed by Giorgos Kordelas). The bell tower of Agia Fotini in Smyrna can be seen in the shadow. For its construction, photographs of the old bell tower as well as photographs and drawings of the new bell tower built in Nea Smyrna, were used.
Fantasy

This sculpture was made in 2019 and is part of the “Shadows in Cyprus” unit. Is located on the seaside promenade of Protaras, Cyprus. During the day, one sees a lonely man. He is 1.80 meters tall and in the upper left corner there is a light. During the night, the shadow of the man from this particular light forms his partner with whom they embrace.

This sculpture was made entirely from garbage in 2020 for Nickelodeon Channel for the 50th anniversary of Earth’s Day.
DNA
This artwork was created in 2020 and placed on the Path of Life. A path that starts from the limits of the old city of Xanthi and follows the Kosynthos River.
