Amusement

This artwork belongs to the “Psyche” unit. It is the second of the six artworks in the unit and was created in 2015.

It is very important for our soul to have fun. Everyone will find their own way. I chose dance and wine, as their combination directly refers to the concept of Joy.

In the shadow of the artwork, some people can be seen dancing, having fun. Above them there is someone alone. This could be the DJ, the bartender, the waiter or even the musician who wrote the music that others listen to and have fun. This person helps others to have fun, but experiences a loneliness.

In addition to them, there are also the invisible ones. If one observes on the right side of the shadow, one will see a profile holding something in his hand, perhaps a glass or a book. This form is formed with light and not with shadow. These are people we may not see, like the bar owner for example.
